The Pathway through Private Lessons

I recently finished a continuing education class about the gig economy and found out some interesting statistics.  Studies show that over 162 million working age people have side gigs.  For 30% of those people, or 49 million people, it’s their primary means of making income.  

Martial artists have a great opportunity to turn a passion into a lifestyle.  20 years ago, many would never have dreamed that teaching martial arts could be a full-time endeavor.  Today it is a reality for some but those opportunities are few and far between.  However, if you are intent on making martial arts your main source of income, you can pave your own way and opt to teach private lessons.  

As a perk for our Instructors at BETA Academy, we use private lessons as a means for our Instructors to not only supplement their earnings but to full fill their dreams of quitting the 9 to 5 grind.  Keep in mind you will be entering another grind but hopefully it is one of your own choosing and one that offers further opportunities for personal and professional growth.
